Amélie Lacroix was married to an Overwatch agent named Gérard Lacroix. The criminal organization Talon was constantly trying to eliminate Gérard, and eventually came up with a plan to kidnap his wife and brainwash her into becoming an expert killer. After she was rescued, she kill Gérard in his sleep and was never seen again until making her debut as Widowmaker.
Powers and Abilities[]
Talon Experimentations: Through Talon’s experiments, Widowmaker was given extensive training in the covert arts, basic hand-to-hand combat, slight superhuman abilities, the inability to feel human emotions, and physiology altered her, making her skin turn blue and slowing her heart down. In the end, the results of Talon’s experimentations and programming have made Widowmaker a living weapon and the terrorist organization’s most effective assassin.
Infra-Sight: Widowmaker's ultimate ability. Allows her to see her enemies through any walls.

Widowmaker’s sadistic nature often takes over at the worst of times, as she can choose to play around with a potential target or shift her focus to a new one instead of killing them outright.
