Widck is one of the titular protagonists of the 2024 animated series The Purples.
Background[]
During the self-destruction of the Violet Sun, he created Widck, Enda, and Voida, who were tasked with exploring and protecting the Omniverse. Widck and his companions established separate planets to inhabit. While Enda and Voida were social with one another, Widck preferred solitude and resided in the Snow Dimension, where he could observe his planet and enjoy his peace. When an explosion occurred which was the creation of the Omniverse billions of years before their own existence, he ventured into the area to discover the vastness of the Omniverse.
He invited his team to join him. Together, Widck and his companions explored the Omniverse, facing off against villains like Shriken Balloon, Vellan Skin Taker, Whoher, Opian, Are, Nin, and many others, all spawned from the ever-nihilistic Yamoner. Throughout this main arc, he remained distant and stoic towards others and his teammates Enda and Voida, yearning for a deeper connection with them. As he and his team began to understand one another, he forged friendships and allied with heroes to confront Yamoner and seek to change her. Although he lost the battle against Yamoner, he was revived shortly after when the Violet Sun granted them a new narrative, allowing him to penetrate Yamoner's psyche, which ultimately led her to exit the plot entirely. In his separate storyline, he battled his former self and merged into a form that found balance between optimism and stoicism.
Abilities[]
- Ansovia and Insovia: An ability granted by the Violet Sun which gives Widck a plethora of abilities dependent on his status. He and his comrades only has this ability. When operating the ability, it can be mentally done or chanted out loud. Ansovia is for weaker damage and Insovia is for higher damage.
- Light Manipulation: Of course, Widck's main ability is light manipulation. Widck has shown the ability to manipulate and create light in multiple ways. He can use light to deliver devastating blows and attacks that are nearly imperceptible. He can project light similar to an energy beam and make space-time within a two-hundred-million-mile radius glow. Additionally, Widck can enhance his other powers and skills through light manipulation and increase his speed to a level beyond the eye's perception.
- Object Creation: Widck can create any objects such as planets, swords and weapons, scry's and much more via light.
- Telekinesis: Widck is extremely potent in telekinesis, which enhances not only his other attributes but his basic activities like eating. He can levitate objects and landmasses from afar with minimal effort, and he can bind, hinder, or draw opponents to a specific location using his telekinesis. Additionally, Widck can amplify his powers through telekinesis, redirect incoming objects, and alter their vectors. He can also use his telekinesis to break multidimensional objects for defensive purposes and crush enemies.
- Reality Warping: Widck can alter the rules of reality He can transform a multiverse into a sword, rapidly empty a dimension for use as an attack, change laws and aspects of a certain multiverse and turn a dimensional plane against an opponent.
- Probability Manipulation:
- Dimensional Manipulation: Widck can manipulate dimensions via his telekinesis. By using them as a homing attack or by just configuring higher dimensions into lower one's
- Ability Nullification: Widck can nullify abilities that can harm him.
- Ability Redirection: Widck can redirect abilities that can harm him. Conceptual erasure is one of them, though he has resisted a plethora of other things. His ability of redirection is operated under his telekinesis or barrier creation.
- Plot Manipulation: Widck has manipulated the plot before, though it is to a certain degree. With light psycho, he was able to change the rules of the battle to manage to get on par with Yamoner.
- Existence Erasure: Widck has constantly erased objects and beings from existence, he erased aliens from existence and a large group of villains from existence.
- Immortality: Widck is immortal because of his connection to the Violet Sun, this means if he somehow manages to die, he would always come back as a heightened form of himself which is Light Psycho.
- Clairvoyance: Widck senses the future via his scry and knows what's going to happen because of it. He can also sense the future without his scry.
- Heightened Awareness: Widck is extremely aware of his surroundings and can gain an easy understanding of the multiverse he's in.
- Cooking: Widck can cook herbal tea and herbal cake very well.
- Linguistics: Widck can speak roughly 80 thousand languages and detect body language as well.
- Hand-to-hand combat: Widck is skilled in savate and capoeira. This was able to hinder the Ultimate King man.
- Master Swordsman: Widck is extremely skilled with swords, especially his astral sword.
- Enhanced Speed: Widck can operate and move at or beyond the speed of light. He was able to cross a googol year with his intense speed, cross most of the Omniverse to find an invisible planet, and match up with Yamoner via Light Psycho.
- Enhanced Durability: Widck survived many types of conceptual erasure and shrugged off universes and multiverses thrown at him. He was also able to tank reality altering attacks such as The Ultimate King man erasing most of the 5th Dimension.
- Enhanced Strength: Widck was able to crack a moon's surface with a kick.
- Regeneration: Widck can regenerate from any damage.
- Temperature Manipulation: His presence was able to freeze surroundings.
- Enchantment/Transformation (with the Violet Sun): Widck was able to transform into Light Psycho which was a heightened form of him which managed to match well with Yamoner Delangu and defeated his old self. Light Psycho contributed to him manipulating the plot and gave him wisdom.

- The Astral Sword: Widck's astral sword grants him other skills and techniques that can devastate the battlefield. He is also able to constantly cut intense gravity with it as well. He also ripped reality just by slicing the surrounding space.
