Usagi Tsukino was a regular high school girl with bad grades but good popularity. However her entire life changed once she met Luna the Cat. Usagi was found by the magical talking cat Luna, who told her she was the incarnate of the goddess Sailor Moon. And she gave her a magical brooch which she could use to transform into the hero, Sailor Moon. Usagi was now tasked with protecting Japan from evil forces and monsters from Queen Beryl, alongside her allies, the Sailor Senshi.

- Transformation Brooch: The very first magical item that Usagi Tsukino used to transform into her standard Sailor form as Sailor Moon. It's transformation phrase is Moon Prism Power, Make Up! It was given to Usagi by Luna in Act 1 of the manga. Luna tricked her into transforming into Sailor Moon to prove to Usagi that she had a destiny as a Sailor Guardian. Once she obtained it, Usagi began wearing the brooch in the center of the bow on the front of her school uniform when she was in civilian form. The brooch was broken in Act 14 of the manga but received the Crystal Star.
- Crystal Star: The second magical item that Usagi Tsukino used to transform into the much stronger second evolution of her standard, regular Sailor form of Sailor Moon. It is used in the transformation Moon Crystal Power, Make Up. In Act 14 of the manga, Queen Serenity bestowed the Crystal Star for Usagi in the Chamber of Prayer when Usagi arrived on the Moon and restored the Moon Castle after the defeat of Queen Metalia. Usagi simply had to place the Silver Crystal inside the brooch to use it. It is destroyed in the final battle against Death Phantom and is replaced by the Cosmic Heart Compact.
- Cosmic Heart Compact: The third transformation brooch given to Usagi Tsukino in order to transform into a much stronger and more evolved version of her standard Sailor form. It was given to her along with the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. In order to transform, she shouts Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up.
- Crisis Moon Compact: A brooch given to Usagi Tsukino by Pegasus when she upgraded her Cosmic Heart Compact in Act 39. Along with Chibiusa, using her Chibi Moon Compact, Usagi transforms into Super Sailor Moon using the phrase Moon Crisis, Make Up.
- Eternal Moon Article: The brooch Usagi Tsukino uses as Eternal Sailor Moon. It is her final brooch which holds her Silver Crystal and gains wings when she transforms much like Eternal Sailor Moon herself does. It is seen in the manga. The compact is a large pink heart with upwards pointed yellow crescent moon on its bottom point. On each side of the heart are three small white wings which connect to the heart through a pearl which appear like two wings on each side, much like Sailor Moon's hair clips. When transformed, large wings appear from behind the brooch much like Eternal Sailor Moon's own wings.
- Moon Mask: Simply known as Mask or Goggles, is the mask that Sailor Moon wore in the early chapters of the manga. She first wore this mask when she transformed in Act 1 - Usagi, Sailor Moon. She used them to see Naru in danger. After which, whenever she transforms, she tosses off the mask before fighting, until Act 8 where the mask (aside from one minor use in Act 15) no longer appears for the rest of the series. The mask looked like Sailor V's mask but they were white instead of red.
- Disguise Pen: A pen that was given to Usagi by Luna, so she could disguise herself in order to complete a mission more easily. While she looks like the person she wants to be, she also apparently gains the knowledge of whoever she changes into. This was used many times during the first arc of the manga. The pen can also become an umbrella.
- Communicator: A special device used by Sailor Moon to keep in touch with other Sailor Senshi.
- Holy Grail: A sacred goblet/cup of great, holy power used by Super Sailor Moon in the manga. By calling out Crisis, Make Up!, the Grail enables her to temporarily become Super Sailor Moon, which is a much stronger and more powerful evolution of her third regular Sailor form. It seems to greatly increase the healing powers of the Spiral Heart Moon Rod, as it bestows a far more powerful moon/rainbow-based attack, which is much more effective on a Daimon-Rainbow Moon Heartache. Its origins and summoning were different both in the original anime and the manga.
- Holy Moon Chalice: An item under Eternal Sailor Moon's possession that appeared in the manga. In the manga the Holy Grail was upgraded to the Holy Moon Chalice and it enables her to upgrade her power set and become Eternal Sailor Moon during the Dream arc, and it allowed Usagi Tsukino to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon.
- Space-Time Key: A magical item from the Sailor Guardian of Space-Time, Sailor Pluto, that was carried and used by Sailor Moon to escape planet Nemesis or call to the Space-Time Door.
- Silver Crystal: A crystalline object which provides her basic power, contains limitless power and is the source of all energy in the universe. She can call upon her future self to use the power of both the future and present crystal to double its power. In the reprinted manga and Sailor Moon Crystal, it is known as the "Legendary Silver Crystal". It was revealed that it served as Eternal Sailor Moon's own Sailor Crystal, evolving into what is known as the Silver Moon Crystal.
- Cosmos Crystal: The "Cosmos Crystal", or "Cosmos Seed", is the Sailor Crystal of the Galaxy Cauldron, the combined powers of all the Sailor Crystals in the galaxy, bound together as one. Protected by Guardian Cosmos, it released the ultimate universal Lambda Power when awakened, the ultimate static power in all the cosmos, and that power was strong enough to recreate and rebirth an entire galaxy worth of Sailor Crystals. It was never shown in the manga, but its effects were easy to see.
Weapons[]
- Tiara: Sailor Moon's tiara served as her first weapon. In the manga, Sailor Moon used her tiara for two main attacks; Moon Frisbee/Moon Tiara Boomerang and Moon Twilight Flash. The latter was one of Sailor Moon's manga only attacks and was first used in Volume 01, Act 04. A bright light flashes from the gem on her tiara. She received upgrades to her tiara during the Dark Kingdom arc of the manga, but in every other manga arc, it stayed the same. Sailor Moon's first tiara was given to her when she first transformed into her regular Sailor form as Sailor Moon. When removed from Sailor Moon's forehead and activated for her Moon Frisbee attack (renamed Moon Tiara Boomerang for the manga re-release) the tiara morphs into a flat circular shape with the gem placed on top. She uses it as a boomerang and can control the path and trajectory.
- Odango Covers: The "Red Hair Pieces" or Odango Shields by fans, appear in Sailor Moon's hair when she transforms, decorating her odango. The pieces allowed her to hear that Naru Osaka was in danger from a distance and when she cried they released supersonic waves in the manga. However, the ability to hear people from a distance appeared only once, Act 1 of the manga, and it was never used or referenced again. Sailor Moon’s red hairpieces were red round pieces on her odangos/buns with a white outline.
- Wing Hair Clips: The hairpieces that Sailor Moon wore. The clips were white and had three feathers on each clip. She would sometimes throw these clips at enemies and at any flying objects heading towards her.
- Moon Stick: An item used by Sailor Moon in the first arc of the manga. She used this item to perform the Moon Healing Escalation attack. The Moon Stick became more powerful after the Silver Crystal was attached to it. The previous owner of the Moon Stick was Queen Serenity. In the manga, the Moon Stick was similar in appearance to the one in the anime but the crescent moon was light blue instead of gold. When the Silver Crystal appeared, it could be used in conjunction with the Moon Stick. In the final battle with Queen Metalia, the Moon Stick became a long staff. After Usagi got her new brooch, she used the Moon Stick to destroy Queen Metalia and revive the people of the Earth. The Moon Stick vanished and was never seen or mentioned again.
- Moon Phase: A star-shaped pocket watch which Usagi owned in the manga. The Moon Phase didn't work at all at first, but started going backwards when the characters started remembering their past. It also stopped ticking when Mamoru was kidnapped, but began working again when he was revived under the control of Queen Metalia. When the watch stopped working again, it was a sign for Usagi that Mamoru was alive.
- Cutie Moon Rod: Or just Moon Rod is the weapon used by Sailor Moon to perform Moon Princess Halation. In the manga, it was created by the love between Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion. In the manga, it was created by the love between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask after he protected her from her reflected Moon Tiara Boomerang. Sailor Moon uses Moon Princess Halation to kill Koan and continues to use it until the final battle of the Black Moon arc. Luna calls it "Queen Serenity's Scepter" and she wielded it during the Silver Millennium. Neo-Queen Serenity gave her Cutie Moon Rod to Sailor Chibi Moon during the final battle with Death Phantom, so that she could join and fight alongside Sailor Moon. The two scepters combined powers and easily obliterated Death Phantom with a stronger Moon Princess Halation but the two scepters shattered in the process.
- Spiral Heart Moon Rod: The third mystical weapon Sailor Moon uses in her third evolved Sailor form in the Infinity arc. Chibiusa gives this new scepter to Usagi, which is a gift from Neo-Queen Serenity, in gratitude for saving Crystal Tokyo.
- Moon Kaleido Scope: Or Kaleidomoon Scope, is a weapon given to Super Sailor Moon by Pegasus in the Dream arc of the manga. In the manga Pegasus transformed two mundane kaleidoscopes. She used it to perform the Moon Gorgeous Meditation attack with great mystical moon/dream-related abilities granted to her by Pegasus. She uses it as her primary mode of attack, with this she shoots a beam of light that purifies evil things and heals normal people. It can be used as an offensive attack or can set up a barrier.
- Eternal Tiara: The weapon Eternal Sailor Moon wields after she evolves from her Super form in the manga. It was used to perform Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and many other attacks in the franchise. In the manga, the Eternal Tiare is Sailor Moon's strongest weapon and appeared when Usagi gained the power to transform into her Eternal form. It was broken by Galactica Planet Attack when Sailor Moon fought the Sailor Senshi under Sailor Galaxia's control in Act 58, but she recreated it shortly afterward while using Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss.
- Sword of the Silver Crystal: Also called the Holy Sword, was a magical sword found by the Sailor Guardians on the moon in Act 10. It was stuck into the ground and Sailor Venus was the only one who could free it. It is from the Silver Millennium and its purpose was to protect Princess Serenity. After Prince Endymion was killed by Queen Beryl, Princess Serenity committed suicide by stabbing herself with the sword out of grief. To avenge their deaths, Sailor Venus took the sword and killed Queen Beryl.

Super Sailor Moon[]
Using the Holy Power of the Moon Grail, and later the power she was given by Helios, Sailor Moon can transform into an Enhanced form of Sailor Senshi. The first time she transformed into Super Sailor Moon, she emanated at least 10,000 more energy then the Moon Spiral Heart Attack and scared Pharaoh 90.
- Rainbow Moon Heart Ache: Essentially a more powerful version of Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Super Sailor Moon uses it to destroy Cyprine and Ptilol (one person in two forms).
- Moon Gorgeous Meditation: Super Sailor Moon shatters an enemy with magic from the Kaleidomoon Scope.
Eternal Sailor Moon[]
Transforms into this form using the Holy Moon Cálice and wielding the Eternal Tiare, Sailor Moon's hair grows even longer, sprouts angelic wings, dress grows ribbon-like extensions, and skirt turns layered and mulitcolored. This is Sailor Moon's most powerful form without using the Lambada Power.
- Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss: Eternal Sailor Moon uses the Eternal Tiara to unleash a very powerful attack, it's also used to heal an opponent. It was used to defeat Queen Nehelenia and several of Galaxia's subordinates.
- Double Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss: Eternal Sailor Moon performs the previous with Sailor Chibi Moon.
- Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss: Eternal Sailor Moon uses the Moon Power Tiara to defeat all of the Sailor Soldiers corrupted by Galaxia in a single shot, also used to heal an opponent.
- Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power: Eternal Sailor Moon's final and most powerful attack in the manga. Sailor Moon combines all of the Galaxy's Sailor Crystals into the Cosmos Crystal and unleashes the Lambda Energy.

By using the Lambda power, Sailor moon assumes the form of Sailor Cosmos The Most Ultimate Form And Final Form of Sailor Moon with this power, She can access the power of every Sailor senshi in the entire existence, use the lambda power to restored the universe at its static static, as she activated the Cosmos crystal lambda power to rebirth the Entire Sailor crystal in the galaxy cauldron that galaxia drop in, she was also able to survived inside the galaxy cauldron and retain her physical form as said by Guardian Cosmos those who enter the galaxy cauldron who retain their physical form is at their "Purest Form"
