Rin Tohsaka is the master of Archer during the Fifth Holy Grail War and the successor to the Tohsaka family magecraft. She is a Fate/Stay Night character.
Backstory[]
When she was a child, her father was chosen as one of the Masters of the Fourth War of the Holy Grail and left to fight her, eventually dying. With her weakened mother and barely able to take care of herself, Rin was left in the care of her father's student, Kirei Kotomine, who finished her magical training. With her father's legacy in mind, Rin spends the next ten years preparing for the Fifth Holy Grail War, planning to summon the most powerful Servant, Saber, although she is stuck with Archer after a small summoning error. In a moment, Rin saved Shirou Emiya by healing him from an attack he had received from Lancer. Interestingly, she seeks only to win, as she has no desire.

- Magecraft: Rin is an incredibly skilled and talented wizard who can manipulate all five Elements,an extremely rare trait for a magician. She is particularly adept at converting power, transferring and storing magical energy. She stores her magical energy in jewelry, making use of Jewel Magecraft, using them as robust one-shot mystical codes with magical power accumulated over the years.
- Gandr: Rin concentrates the magical energy on the index finger, resulting in a nebulous black orb to be subsequently fired like a bullet. Originally intended to be a curse, Rin's variation on Gandr takes on an unusual bodily form. Furthermore, Rin circumvented any need for a verbal component to initiate this spell due to having inherited and infused her family's Magic Crest, and she can fire as many Gandrtiros in an instant, even create a barrier and rain on an opponent if she so choose. Since Rin's Gandr Shot was particularly violent, capable of piercing and disintegrating a large part of a concrete wall with just a single shot, it could be considered at the Finn Shot level. Or Finn Gatling Gun.
- Reinforcement Sorcery:Rin is also proficient with reinforcement witchcraft, allowing him to strengthen his legs so much that he can run over a hundred meters in less than seven seconds, fast enough to be perceived as a blur for a normal human. She is also able to use it on herself for a few seconds to deal critical damage to even a Servant like Caster with physical blows in a situation where Rin leaves her unawares. It can also make use of one of its jewels for a great deal of protection and, by placing it on your stomach to form a protective cover, it can even last for a long period of time being crushed in Berserker's hands. She can also use a certain degree of healing magic and runes.

- Jeweled Sword Zelretch: A replication of Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg's Jewel Sword, created by Rin, Illya, and Shirou during Heaven's Feel. The sword is capable of the Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon, allowing the user to draw in potentially infinite magical energy. The kaleidoscope-like jewel blade creates a small opening to the same area in another parallel world, though any further interference is impossible, and it draws in all of the magical energy from that space. Magical energy channeled into the blade can be fired off in a blinding stream of light known as an "Ether Cannon" with an output comparable to Excalibur. Also, as a jewel, the sword can be detonated as a one-shot explosive, referred to as Welt Ende.
