The Mirror Shield is a shield variant found in the Legend of Zelda franchise.

- Durability: The Mirror Shields tended to be a quite effective shield within the games. They are usually the highest level of shield in games they are in.
- Light-Reflection: The ability the Mirror Shield is probably most know for. Some versions of the Mirror Shield has their surface published to such a degree that they reflect light in concentrated beam.
Variants[]
A Link to the Past[]
The Mirror Shield in A Link to the Past is found in Turtle Rock. It is colored gold and is a great bit larger than other shields. This one cannot deflect light, but is able to block laser beams.
Link's Awakening[]
Ocarina of Time[]
This Mirror Shield is found in the Spirit Temple. It has red outlines with a metal surface that has Gerudo symbol imprinted onto it. It appears has a rather unreliable grip, seeing as Like-Likes can't take it from Link, unlike the Hylian or Deku Shield.
Majora's Mask[]
This variant is more rounded compared the others, and has a distressed face imprinted on its surface. It can be found beneath the well of Ikana Canyon.

Wind Waker[]
A variant with blue outlines found in Earth Temple.
Minish Cap[]
Mirror Shield from the Minish Cap have a nearly identical design to the one in Wind Waker. While similar in design, it works quite differently. This version doesn't deflect light, but instead it can deflect magical projectiles. It is given to Link by Biggoron after being given Link's Small Shield as food.
