Marin Mizuta (瑞田 マリン, Mizuta Marin) is a student in Precept's Peak Academy and a participant in the killing game located there.

Her title is Ultimate Weather Forecaster (超高校級の「気象予報士」, chō kōkō kyū no "kishō yohō-shi" lit. Super High School Level Weather Forecaster).

She is from Danganronpa Rebirth and created by Miwashiba

Background

The weather forecaster of a major news show. Her bubbly nature and odd style of speech have made her popular across the country. Her weather predictions are always correct. She is narcoleptic, and has even fallen asleep on live TV. Marin usually refers to herself as 'Big Sis'. She also uses emoticons and the phrase 'hawa hawa' and 'poka poka' in her speech.

Appearance

Marin has long, light pink hair tied into two straight-cut ponytails held by thick, dark grey bows. She has sky blue eyes. Above her left eye, she wears a circular, light blue hair clip with a yellow lightning bolt in the center.

She wears a short, hooded, light mustard yellow poncho that is split down the middle, held together with a thin, light red bow. The poncho has brown accents. Where the poncho splits, there is a brown moon icon on both the left and right. There is a brown sun icon on the right side of the hood, and a large, brown moon icon on the back of the poncho.

Under the poncho, she wears a dark grey button-up shirt with five white buttons. There are two white pockets at the bottom, a white collar at the top, and white cuffs with a large, grey button on each arm. 

She also wears a box-pleated, mid-thigh length, orangish-brown skirt. There is a small, white teru teru bōzu (with the appearance of a cat) hanging from a string at the top left of her skirt.

Over her dark grey boots, she wears loose, light mustard yellow galoshes with brown accents.

Relationships 

Seishi Yodogawa

Before Seishi reveals his true self in Chapter 3, the two are on neutral terms,Seishi is kindable after meeting Marin,and they have a good relationship before Marin knewing Seishi's true self.. With his identity revealed, Marin is shocked and horrified along with the others. As Chapter 4 comes, she still remains like this. It can be assumed that she did not hate Seishi, since she had attempted to save him from the poison. If she had not done this, accidentally killing him, Narumi would most likely have been executed instead of her.
