Kaos is the main antagonist of the Skylanders series. He is a Dark Portal Master who is bent on ruling all of Skylands with an iron fist.

Background

Before becoming the archenemy of the Skylanders, Kaos always demonstrated an insatiable hunger for absolute power. Even as an infant, Kaos seized control of his nursery with his "evil baby army of evil drool" which threatened to crawl across the face of all Skylands. Fortunately, this uprising was crushed at naptime. Kaos was then sent to the finest evil school of magical villainy, as were many in his long and twisted family history. It was here that Kaos met Glumshanks, who was persuaded by Kaos to become his evil servant with the promise of career growth. But soon after, they were expelled when Kaos appeared as a giant floating head at a school assembly and ate the gymnasium. With the long suffering and still unpromoted Glumshanks at his side, Kaos continues to come up with plan after plan to take over Skylands; some say to fulfill his ambition to become Skylands' "ultimate evil overlord," though others think that he’s still trying to impress his immensely powerful and overbearing mother – herself a Dark Portal Master. All agree, however, that Kaos should never be underestimated.

Powers & Abilities

• Sorcery: Being a Portal Master, Kaos is an adept sorcerer.
  • Elemental Discs: Kaos is able to place down magical discs based on the original eight elements of Skylands:
    • Magic to reverse time.
    • Tech to create an explosion of sparks.
    • Life to slow down his enemies.
    • Water to summon a waterfall from the sky.
    • Fire to create a pillar of flames.
    • Earth to create miniature earthquakes.
    • Air to levitate his opponents.
    • Undead to transform his opponents into ghosts and have them attack other enemies.
  • Doom Sharks: Kaos is able to summon waves of sharks and summon them to home in on his enemies.

Durability

• At the end of Swap Force, was in the middle of a magical volcano's eruption and survived.
• Can survive hits from Déjà Vu who can control time and create black holes
• After being defeated, was trapped in a giant robot which crashed and exploded, and simply brushed it off afterwards.

Skill

• Managed to take over all of Skylands inbetween the events of Trap Team and Superchargers.
• Tricked the Skylanders into thinking he had turned over a new leaf more than once.

Weaknesses

• Arrogance: Kaos is an egotistical idiot, often letting his self-praise get the better of him and thinking his plans will work simply because they're his plans.
• Lack of Experience: Kaos does very little one-on-one fighting. Most of the time in battle he usually either has help or a power-up of some kind.
