Ha ha! You're giving yourself way too much credit. Defeating you was nothing but an added bonus. I just wanted to pit you idiots against each other while I took over. You're nothing but a spare body - a change of clothes in Bison's wardrobe.

Juri Han is one of the antagonists from the Street Fighter series. She is a Korean master of Taekwondo.

Background[]

Juri was a prominent, honorable, and respected practitioner of Taekwondo when she was 15. Her father was a lawyer in charge of prosecuting organized crime operations. In this capacity, Shadaloo was his next target, causing her family to be kidnapped by that very organization. During the ordeal, Juri's parents were killed and her left eye was badly damaged and was left for dead, because of this incident, she became a very angry person. S.I.N. eventually fixed her eye, powered by the Feng Shui Engine inside her left eye. She has a very strong rivalry with Chun-Li and Cammy and her arch nemesis M. Bison apparently seems to go after her most likely due to Seth's intervention of the S.I.N. organization to stop him. Shortly after working for Seth, she turns on him to destroy both Bison because of what his organization did to her and her family in the past and Seth for trying to rule the world and for not destroying Shadaloo. In the end she confronts Bison, who had just beaten Seth with his power, and while the battle is not seen, she appears to live from the battle. She approaches Seth, taunting him on him being a spare body for Bison before destroying him by stomping on his Tanden Engine, revealing that she planned to become the new leader of S.I.N (most likely so she can destroy Shadaloo once and for all). What happens after this is unknown.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Feng Shui Engine: This engine grants her amazing speed, strength, and quicker reaction time. It also enhances her ki attacks.
  • Photographic Memory
  • Moveset:
    • Fuhajin ("Wind Breaking Blade"): Street Fighter IV Juri only. Juri gathers ki in her foot as she swings it. She can also release an energy projectile that slides along the ground or in the air.
    • Shikusen ("Flurry Flash"): During a jump, Juri suddenly swoops down towards the opponent foot-first. If she finds her opponent, she follows up with a pair of kicks and finishes with a final kick which sends the opponent flying away.
    • Senpusha ("Drilling Windmill"): Juri cartwheels through the air with ki emanating from her feet.
    • Fuharenjin ("Wind Breaking Chain Blades"): Juri unleashes a sudden barrage of Fuhajin projectiles in three various directions.
    • Kaisen Dankairaku ("Spinning World-Ending Descent" or "Convolution Severing Realm Fall"): Street Fighter IV Juri only. Juri delivers a barrage of vertical spinning kicks while rising into the air. At the peak of this barrage, Juri performs an axe kick that knocks them down. She then uses her Feng Shui Engine to land before her opponent, and follows with a spinning back kick to the exposed back of the falling fighter. With the foe still jammed on her foot, she finishes by violently slamming the opponent head-first onto the ground.
    • Sekku ("Temple Air")/Senkaikyaku: Juri leaps forward, spins and delivers a downward, roundhouse kick.
    • Tojushu ("Trampling Lesser Assault"): Juri jumps forward and stomps her opponent, knocking them down.
    • Kyoretsushu: Juri first delivers a back elbow strike to her opponent's midsection. If the first attack hits, Juri rotates and finishes the combination with an upward side kick.
    • Enkushu: Juri jumps and performs an open handed thrust and then lands an airborne roundhouse kick to knock her opponent to the ground.
    • Korenzan: Juri lifts her leg up to kick her opponent. She then brings her leg downward, hitting her opponent with the heel of her foot.
    • Karen Geri: Juri places her foot on the opponent's head, dragging them towards herself. She then delivers a first kick that sends the opponent in the air and follows up with a jumping kick, launching the opponent away.
    • Assatsu Geri: Juri places her foot on the opponent's head and drives them on the ground. She follows up by stomping their head and their back.
    • Chisenkyaku: Juri places her foot on the back of her opponent's neck and uses it as a platform to jump off of her opponent's head. On the descent, Juri stomps on the back of their neck, then pivots her foot on the back of their neck, applying more pressure and inflicting more damage.
    • Kaeikyaku: Juri uses the underside of her foot to shove her opponent across from her, switching sides with them. Before her opponent can recover, Juri jumps and hits her opponent with a spinning roundhouse kick to the back of their head.
    • Zankasen: Juri grabs her opponent in midair and places her foot on their shoulder and uses it as a platform to jump and flip over her opponent. Juri then raises her leg and performs an overhead axe kick.
    • Focus Attack: A heavy move that grants an augmented defense to the user during the execution and, if it lands, makes the opponent crumple.
    • Kasatushi ("Deluding Killing Stare"): Juri laughs and beckons to her opponent. If hit while making this gesture, she will suddenly dash to a different location. She dashes behind the opponent, backwards or straught up in the air.
    • Fuharenkyaku ("Wind Breaking Chain Leg"): Street Fighter V Juri only. Juri swings her foot upward to gather and store ki for her next attack. After this, Juri can release a projectile along the ground, perform a short turn hop and swing her leg downward with an energy-filled axe kick, or perform two consecutive, energy-filled, horizontal kicks.
    • Tensenrin ("Sky Puncturing Ring"): Juri performs a pinwheel kick toward her opponent or upward.
    • Ryodansatsu ("Bisection Slaughter"): Juri performs a somersault with her legs outstretched, slamming the energy-filled limb against the ground as she lands in the splits.
    • Rochumo ("Tampering Spider Net"): Juri slides on the ground and perform a series of Fuhajin on the opponent.
    • Feng Shuin Engine: Only Street Fighter IV Juri. Juri draws upon the power of the Feng Shui Engine inside her eye.
    • Sakkai Fuhazan ("Killing Realm Wind Crushing Slash"): Juri springs into the air with a twisting reverse back flip; the finishing kick launches a giant ki projectile.
    • Kaisenrenkyaku: After blocking an attack, Juri delivers multiple spin kicks in a tornado-like fashion, before knocking the opponent back.
    • Kasatsushu: Juri crouches and quickly dashes past her opponent, before delivering a huge roundhouse kick that sends them spinning toward the ground. Juri can also charge the attack to increase the damage dealt.
    • Fuha Enzan: Juri swings her leg around to send a spinning disc-like projectile slowly toward her opponent.
    • Feng Shui Engine Alpha: Street Fighter V Juri only. Juri removes the eyepatch over her left eye and activates the Feng Shui Engine within, thus enhancing her fighting potential by emitting a very powerful ki energy in her attacks.
    • Feng Shui Engine Beta: Juri throws a low kick that creates a swirling field of ki around her feet. While the opponent is touching this ki, they will pulse white and their energy will be drained, adding it to Juri.
