Chris Gordon is the main protagonist from the Demon Accords novel series.

Background[]

At a young age, Chris' parents and older brother are killed by a Hellbourne/Demon while he hide in the hiding space of his brother's closet that was built in the back of it.

After the death of his family, his grandfather received custody from him and raised him on their four-hundred-acre farm where he spent most of his life. When his talents started to appear, he started doing workouts and martial arts training and he learned skills that include, and aren't limited to, martial arts, firearms training, knife training, etc.

Appearance[]

The image is what Chris Gordon (the main character of the Demon Accords book series) look likes in the "Winterfall: A Novel of the Demon Accords" book number 12. The purple on his arms and fist/hands is what it looks like when he activates his aura related powers. He is only average looking, but his body is not so average. His eye color is violet/purple.

Powers & Abilities[]

Unique Physiology: Chris possesses a wide range of preternatural powers and abilities that have developed both in breadth and depth over time in the Demon Accords novel series. Chris' powers include those characteristic of vampires, demons, and angels.
- Vampire/Darkkin Powers: One of Chris' ancestors was exposed to both the vampire virus and the werewolf virus in an experimental Nazi prison camp, so his genetics were already not baseline human. Chris got his powers and vampire energy powers plus enhanced metabolism when he ingested Tanya's blood. This further mutated his genetics so he could to use vampire powers without actually becoming one.
- Immortality:
- Exorcism: He can exorcize a demon who is either housebound or possessing someone and bring the Hellbourne back to Hell via a Heaven bird called Kirby who Chris suspects there are more than one and later in the series more than one Kirby appears at the same time.
- Spiritual Awareness: He can see demons even when they are cloaked. This was part of the toolkit of talents that he was born with.
- Vision: He gets visions of past, present, and future events involving supernatural creatures and beings. His visions never hit while he is driving, because he can’t see a thing until the vision passes. His visions can also give him an advanced sight of the fighting area that was shown in his visions. He also calls his vision foresight which can give his reactions a boost if, for instance, he needs to block a kick in time. Each time he has a vision he can start to draw one or more snapshots.
- Sight: With his sight, he can view the aura and souls of humans which are blue, demons which is a greasy black color, and other supernatural beings such as vampires which is white and witches have a blue color with flat black spots. Chris' own aura is violet in the same shade as his own odd eye color. He doesn't see aura's like Reiki masters do so that means no different layers, just solid hues, sometimes with streaks of other colors.

- Mono-Edge Generation/Molecular-Cutting Blades: Chris often wills the aura around his hands into mono-molecular blades that can cut through almost anything and he can pretty much form the monomolecular blades anywhere on his body.

- Drawing: Chris Gordon is really good at drawing but he doesn't believe it's him when drawing and the picture just come on their own, kind of like physic writing according to Chris Gordon. Sometimes the drawings will be graphically cartoonish with the Helbourne’s eyes overly large and a person's figure exaggerated such as Tatiana's figure. His vision drawing will be artistically perfect yet when Chris draws a non-vision drawing such as a stick figure he can barely draw it.

Knives: He usually carries a folding knife of some variety.
Angelic Sword/Angel's Blade: It is sheathed in a personal pocket dimension/universe, and was made at the same time as the Angel Malahidael and is composed of theoretical particles, and can shift in size and power. It has an actinic glare to it and is not affected by most physical or metaphysical objects, though the ambiance of Hell has been proven to suppress it somewhat. It's powerful enough to hold off and harm the Yellowstone Elemental which is compared to a small thermonuclear bomb by Declan O'Carrolland the elemental fits many of the criteria for a celestial being according to Barbiel and can easily cleave through things that even his aura monoblades can't cut.
Glock 19 Pistols: He has twin suppressed Glock 19 pistols and he keeps them in their inside-the-waist holsters.
Pencil - He keeps an ever-present pencil in the back pocket of his jeans and it looks like one of those pencils you get for scorekeeping at miniature golf.
Talisman (formerly) - It is an arrowhead, made from flint and was probably early Mohawk. Chris Gordon had found it in the first week at his Gramp’s farm. The rawhide thong had come from a buck harvested from the farm. The broken eagle feather behind it had its own story. On one of Chris's grandfather forays to the casino, they encountered a tribal elder of Gramps’ acquaintance. It was him who identified the arrowhead as Mohawk and after examining both the arrowhead and Chris, he had reached into a small leather bag that had hung around his own neck and pulled out the rounded tip of the broken eagle feather and it smelled of pipe tobacco and leather, the feather was behind the arrowhead, making it both a background for the flint point and a cushion for Chris' eight-year-old chest. That necklace/talisman had been with Chris for every demon hunt and banishment that he been on prior to meeting Tatiana Demidova; because of that, it had absorbed some of Chris's power each time. It is better than the soapstone fetishes Chris leaves with possessed or haunted children.
Fetishes - When he banishes demons, he gives off a lot of power. Objects made of stone tend to absorb some of that power and sort of store it like a battery. He usually carries a piece of carved soapstone with him when he exorcizes a house or apartment, Indian fetishes. He leaves it behind as protection. So that if any demons come around, they will shy away from the stone. They also helped a few people who for some reason or another tend to draw humankind.
Special Belt with slots for Quarters - This uniquely constructed belt contains slots that store quarters made prior to 1965, as those particular quarters contain 90% silver. Chris uses them as Explosively Formed Projectiles, not dissimilar to those found on modern infantry tank-killer rounds; they are shaped chunks of plasma which is effective at penetrating armor.
Angelic Armor -
Replacement Clothes - He has black leather pants that were given to him by Lydia to replace his other pants since they got Tanya blood on him and the shirt was a white Plasma long-sleeve tee shirt.
Baggy Clothing - Chris prefers to wear baggy clothing, as he is uncomfortable with attention to his body or other unnatural traits.
Jackets - He also prefers to wear jackets when possible, though he is fairly limited to the colder months due to his were-like body temperature.
Two Dragonskin vests: One is for concealment and the other one is a full-military-grade class V heavy armor vest.

His dropkick packs enough force to mess up a garbage truck.
He can pick up and toss a multi-ton dumpster twenty feet through the air using his aura.
He can fold a steel door and frame in half with a simple shove.
He can overpower two Sasquatches with ease, who are ten times stronger then a human.

Speed[]

Chris has displayed speed on par with, or even superior to, small caliber gunfire.
He has shown pretty casual supersonic attack speed.
He can throw a spear faster then a pistol bullet.
He can blitz several superhumanly fast werewolves in a fraction of a second.
He is fast enough to catch a whip that is in mid-strike when it was fast enough to nearly ignite from air friction.
He can flick his wrist fast enough to break the sound barrier.
He can run 50/fifty yards so fast that he seems to teleport, even high-speed cameras can only catch glimpses of him.

Durability[]

He has tanked attacks from large demons hitting him with supernatural speed and strength, and regenerates the damage within seconds.
Chris has even regenerated from being shot in the head by a high caliber sniper round in seconds but he suffered from amnesia after that.
Chris' skin is extremely tough that even needle-like spike projectiles from alien creatures struggle to pierce it.
He can run through multiple cinderblock concrete walls while remaining unfazed.

Vision-Related Weakness: He can't see anything when he is having a vision.
DU/Depleted Uranium: As of Book 9: God Hammer, Chris Gordon has found ways around Depleted Uranium/DU. It hinders his aura and aura related powers.
