Powers & Abilities

• Cybernetic Enhancement: Captain Cold was one of the many villains who accepted Lex Luthor's offer of more power. Luthor provided Snart the technology necessary to enhance himself.
  • Cryokinesis: After regaining his cryokinetic powers, Snart became more powerful than ever, capable of manipulating absolute zero temperatures and project powerful blasts of cold, capable of matching the Flash's Speed Force lightning.
    • Cryokinetic Construct Creation: Snart is capable of surrounding his fists with ice, which enhances his strength to great superhuman levels.
      • Superhuman Strength:
    • Thermokinesis: Snart can use his powers to lower the temperature to dangerous levels in the atmosphere.
      • Weather Manipulation: Snart's control over temperatures allowed him to create a massive snow storm across Central City.

• Peak Human Condition: He punched Mirror Master through a wall.
  • Peak Human Speed: Snart has shown tagging the likes of Barry Allen and Wally West.
• Genius Level Intellect: Not only is he an natural leader, he created his own cold gun and knows it inside and out. Has a proper understanding of how Mirror Master's technology works, knowing that in order to free captives trapped in one reflection, you'd need another correct reflection to reverse it to reality. After multiple weeks, he created mesmerizing cold germs in a prison infirmary unit, that can effect a person on a subconscious level. Snart even managed to develop a new form of radiation called cold-fire, that can freeze a person into a sub-sub-zero state of suspended animation. Which are so intense, not even Flash's speed vibrations can protect him from it and froze his arm in a mirco-second.  Snart even created a gun called the freeze-dryer, that produces a friction-proof compound that can't melt or scrape off. It also releases a sub-zero blast that can geared to anyone's molecular structure, even the Flash's. Cold created a biological sub-zero metabolic trance, that can simulate death and project out ice blasts. Even the Flash admits that Leonard's a genius, just like his sister Golden Glider.
  • Leadership: He is a natural leader and has lead the Rogues through countless years of criminality.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Snart is capable of fabricating a weaponized cold-engine. He stole the original engine and its plans and took two months taking it apart and putting it back together again until he could do it with his eyes closed. He is able to rebuild his Freeze Gun in under 32 minutes with items from a common appliance store.
  • Tactical Analysis: He also has a very tactical mind, and his own personal sense of honor.
• Expert Combatant: Leonard has had a fair amount of history fighting along the Suicide Squad. He has survived a mission that resulted in Lawman's death. Even while unarmed, Snart claimed that he could kill an armed Belle Reve Prison Guard, with the Guard agreeing that he'd pull it off. Snart has even managed to fight and kill the likes of Commander Cold in battle, while both were using somewhat similar technology. Even before joining the Suicide Squad, he managed to beat down the Flash in a brawl, by cheating.

• Cold Gun: Captain Cold's standard weapon is a gun that slows the atoms of the target to a halt, causing them to not simply become extremely cold but freeze near dead in their tracks while in motion, rather than actually shooting ice and freezing the target directly. Cold was temporarily fused with his weapon, giving him the power of ice manipulation, but lost his powers when Deathstorm ripped them from his DNA. Snart returned to using his Cold Gun soon after.
  • Whilst on the Rogues most ambitious outing yet, Snart would upgrade his signature weapon using Speed Force moderating technology created by the Black Hole Organization that he had stolen from S.T.A.R. Labs. Giving his freezing pistol a potent energy disruption effect on The Flash's powers.
  • Cold created his own freeze guns off of machine parts from a custom-made ice vehicle. They can create ice slicks, shatter metal or entomb victims in suspended animation in blocks of ice. It can also slow things down at the atomic level.  Captain Cold's Gun can negate thermal motion. Stops protons and electrons dead in their tracks. Snart's cold gun is so dangerous, that even the Flash finds Central City's crack SWAT team's firepower wouldn't stand up to Snart's fantastic cold weapons arsenal, if he ever decided to let loose. When against Superman’s Heat Vision, Snart’s cold gun cold beams managed to hold its own against it, at absolute zero —minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit, for a while. Mr. Freeze has admitted that Snart’s technology is superior to his.
