Background[]
Bonolenov is born into the Gyudonond tribe. The Gyudonond tribe has a tradition of inserting needles into the boys when they reach the age of three. These needles will gradually be replaced by larger and larger objects, until their bodies are filled with giant holes in their adulthood. The whistling sounds these gaping holes create when the males move is used as a musical instrument paired with their dancing. The usual do these dances before entering a battle.
At some point prior to the events of Hunter × Hunter, the Gyudonond tribe was driven out of the their homeland due to industrialization and Bonolenov joined the Phantom Troupe.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Gyudonond Dance: In his battle with a chimera ant in Meteor City, the sounds created by his dancing can be quite taxing the one hearing it.
- Nen: Nen is a method where somebody can take advantage of the life energy through a multitude of techniques. Bonolenov hasn't been shown to use any other Nen techniques outside Hatsu (personalized abilities following the fundamentals of Nen), but it is heavily unlikely that he isn't able to use other techniques. Bonolenov is a conjurer, meaning that he has a greater efficiency in creating objects out of his Nen than non-conjurer.
- Battle Cantabile: Prologue: A Hatsu where he for a short period of time conjurers a two sided spear, and body armor and a mask onto himself.
- Battle Cantabile: Jupiter: A Hatsu where Bonolenov spins at a great speed until he surrounds himself with a sphere of his aura with the appearance of Jupiter. When Jupiter is formed, he can hurdle himself with great speed at his target and deliver a powerful blow.

- Bonolenov is placed 8th in the Phantom Troupe's arm-wrestling ranking, placed above members such as Nobunaga Hazama, Shalnark, Pakunoda, Shizuku and Kortopi.
- Jupiter destroyed multiple pillars and the wall of Zazan's nest and created a crater.
Speed[]
- Bonolenov claimed that Jupiter was traveling at the speed of sound, and was able to outspeed a chimera ant running for its life.

- His Nen abilities drawn from his limited life energy, and depleting said life energy by excessive use of Nen may result in him passing out.
- Being a conjurer, Bonolenov has a naturally poor ability to emit his aura.
